let it cool down for about 5 minutes after the methods over, or you run the risk of destroying a disk or the xbox itself.

you have to do something that takes like 2 steps and about 10 secs to fix the red ring of death.

Your the dumbass who not only left it standing up verticle but also left it on the carpet.Comon man,people who dont want this should take caution,instead of not taking caution and doing what he did and when it does happen to you and you didnt take caution then dont complain.Btw the towel trick screws up your 360’s cpu PERMANENTLY thanks to heat.

the easiet way is to tuhen rn the 360 off and turn the plug off leave 4 bout half an hour-40 mins then turn the plug back on then leave 10 more minutes then turn on your 360 and then your 360 is fixed 4 about 9 months the towel thing dont work

HA! This kind of shit is why you wait a while before buying a console. Also, it is cheaper and easier to find that way. I was able to get a brand new 360 elite for less than $300.
